Alexis K.

It is with great pleasure that we announce Alexis K. as the 2017 recipient of the SGA Scholarship. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding academic achievement, leadership potential, and community involvement, and Alexis has demonstrated excellence in all of these areas.

Alexis’s academic record is impressive. She has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and has taken a rigorous course load that includes multiple AP classes. Her commitment to academic excellence is evident in her participation in academic competitions, such as the National Honor Society and the Math Team. In addition, Alexis has also been recognized as a National Merit Scholar Finalist.

Beyond her academic accomplishments, Alexis is an exceptional leader. She has served as the President of her school’s Student Government Association, where she has worked tirelessly to improve the student experience at her school. Alexis has also been involved in various community service projects, including volunteering at a local soup kitchen and participating in a Habitat for Humanity build.

Alexis’s passion for leadership and community service has not gone unnoticed. In addition to being the recipient of the SGA Scholarship, she has also been recognized with other honors, such as the Rotary Youth Leadership Award and the Community Service Award.
